Nerlords pic from 2016The sixteenth edition of the new play festival of Maine writers features an evening of dramatic readings and full productions of six world-premiere plays!

The Maine Playwrights Festival is now in its 16th year of nurturing the development of new scripts by Maine writers. The festival is centered on developing and honing short plays, from submission through staged readings, rewrites, and culminating in a series of public performances.

Dramatic Readings

(Readings of five finalist scripts by playwrights Arthur Boatin, Josh Brassard, Daniel Bryant, Carolyn Gage, and Sanuel Richardson from the 2017 selection process)
