 Shakespeare’s words have wooed countless romantics since he first put quill to paper in the late 16th century. In celebration of the season for lovers, Naked Shakespeare presents a special fundraising event that features tableside performances of some of the bard’s most passionate language, followed by a Wine Bar style show complete with index card cue lines! Entry includes complimentary desserts and one drink ticket, along with special deals on fine vintage red and white wines.

12 actors bring to life 17 classic sonnets in table side performances of your own choosing, including the following:

Sonnet 18: “Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day”
Sonnet 29: “When in disgrace with fortune and men’s eyes”
Sonnet 55: “Not marble, nor the gilded monuments
Sonnet 116: “Let me not to the marriage of true minds”

Followed by a performance featuring these well-known and beloved lovers:

Benedick, Cleopatra, Portia, Romeo

As well as the following lovable rogues:

Edmund, the Porter, Launcelot Gobbo, Mistress Quickly, and many more!!
